Should You Order Products From Dropshippers To See What The Product Is Like?

This is another great question that I often get asked, but the first thing that comes to my mind every time is this - "What if you are selling a thousand products?" Ordering products from your supplier just to see what they are like, could get costly.

I am not saying its a bad idea, but it is an expensive one that I think you could avoid by doing a few "simple" other things. With that said, I want to make it clear that I think its a great idea (even a must) to have a clear understanding of your product line no matter what before you start selling products online.

There are two ways to look at this;

1. My first opinion is that it really depends on what product line you are selling. For some product lines, it may be easy (or cheap) to order just "a few" of the products and be able to get a pretty good idea of what the products are like. I do not think that will be the case for most product lines though, because what if you are selling furniture items like a memory foam mattress that has an average price tag of 700$?

That's gonna add up, and quick! What you can do in those circumstances is simple - just research the product online through "review sites", or go and visit a store that is selling the same product you are, and "see what its like" right there, in store. It will be a lot cheaper in the long run and you have not wasted money on a product you do not want. I can't begin to tell you how many times I go into Sears or some other place and find the product I want, and make sure its what I want, and then I go online and find the best price. This is the power and beauty of the Internet.

2. However; there is even one more way you can look at it. If you really (really) want to order the product to test it out for your self, you can always re-sell it on eBay or Craigslist. Because you are ordering it from your supplier, you are getting the best deal out there, so you still will make some money even re-selling it.

Any one of these suggestions I have given above would work to accomplish the goal, which is to get more educated about the products you are selling online. If you can accomplish that, then I think you have taken a great step forward to becoming an even more successful Internet business owner.

As an owner of 6 cats (only 2 aggressive) and even more expensive furniture I know exactly how you feel. I wanted my cat declawed (onychectomy), but I heard so many awful things that turned me to so many confusing places. Through my successful experience I outlined everything here to save you the time and get straight to the answers. So lets begin, well first of all we can right off the bat say the declawing is a painful procedure and should be looked at as a last resort to control the cat's (normal) behavior to scratch. The purpose of the actual cat scratching is to remove old, worn fragments of nails. This piece will help you to eliminate the root cause of the cat's behavior to scratch furniture and/or people, and will save you time and money. money.

There are many ways to improve the chances of each of these alternatives to work. For scratching posts, cardboard scratchers, cat trees, and cat-friendly furniture, it is recommended to sprinkle catnip on these areas to make them more attractive and to add unfriendly scratching material on the furniture usually scratched. Also remember to keep these items close to the family active areas, and to feed and play beside them so the cats enjoy using them, while slowly moving them to the areas where the cat would be alone most of the time.

How To Become A Part-Time Movie Start

Without quitting your 9 to 6 job, I would show you how in only few hours you could be on your way to becoming a part-time movie start.

You think you have the ability to convey emotions in an interesting way and make them believable? Well, acting is a medium that allows you to do just that. You can make a fortune working part time as an actor, and all you need to begin is:

a) The desire to do it.
b) A picture of yourself.
c) An acting resume.

Once you have these three things, is a matter of time before an agent comes ringing to present you with a job offer.

Before I started acting years ago, I thought it was going to take me years to break into the business, let alone to make any money doing it. I was wrong. In a couple of days after I got my PR (picture and resume), I was already on a set shooting a commercial for a bank as the principal actor. Since that day, I have worked in more than 50 productions on lead roles and have enjoyed an experience like no other where the next opportunity could bring a new adventure, knowledge and experience, and lots of money.

Before we begin let me say that the success of an actor doesnt have anything to do with the financial aspect of the business, even thought thats a very important factor, the true success of an actor is to be able to act consistently and transmit feeling and emotions to an audience. Once you attain that balance in an effective manner, money will follow.

It is true that living in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Buenos Aires, or Madrid could increase your chances of getting jobs (you may have more opportunities and auditions), the strategies bellow will help you get started. An acting career no matter where you are is a very achievable goal.

So, lets get right to the point and allow me to present to you a guideline of the steps you need to take to become a part-time movie start by next week. Keep in mind that to work as an actor it doesnt matter how you look physically or how old you are. The only thing that matters is your desire to succeed. Read on.

1. Get a picture of yourself. Commonly known as a head shoot, this picture could be in black and white or in color. The ideal picture will be in color and taken by a professional photographer. Contact a local photographer by looking in the classified section of your home town newspaper. You want a photographer that will take a minimum of two roles of pictures. Between that group of negatives, select the one you like best. With that negative in hand you get the picture printed on a 8 by 10 print with your name on it. This whole process should cost you no more than 400.00 dollars (210.00 for the pictures and 190.00 for 250 color prints with the design of your choice and your artistic name on it.
PS. Pick the picture that represent better the way you actually look. Choose one where you look comfortable and relax. Do not use too much makeup or flashy clothing.

2. Print yourself an acting resume. I know what youre thinking. You dont have any credits to show in a resume. Well, neither did I. Start by writing your measurements and specifications. Put your name in the top of a page (use Microsoft Word) and centered. Right under the name write the following replacing it with your own numbers:

Height: 6 Weight: 175 lbs Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Light Brown - Suit: 40R Waist: 32-33 Shirt: 15 33-34 sleeves Inseam: 32 Hat: Large Shoes: 11 .

If you took some drama classes in school, write it down. At the bottom of the resume write your special skills (swimming, dancing, any sports you play, language you speak, nationality, if you can speak with accents, etc.) Do not lie on your resume.

3. Find an agent. Look in the yellow pages, business directories, newspaper, and library. Call them up, follow up on the calls. Explain to them that you are a beginner actor looking for representation. Say that you are interested in working in commercials and that you are serious about it. Tell the agents that you are always available for auditioning, and that you are very reliable.

Follow up, follow up, follow up, and never give up. You will get an agent to represent you in a matter of days. It is a good idea to get yourself familiar with the rules of your particular state. In some cities you can only be represented by one agent while in others you can have several agents. Never jump into a exclusivity contract unless you are very sure of what you are doing. Remember you are hiring the agent and no the other way around.

Thats it. When you have a full time job, sometimes it is difficult to find time to audition for parts, but there is always a chance to schedule an audition during your lunch hour or after work. Many of the projects I work on are shot during weekends. Pick and choose your opportunities by asking your agent ahead of time when the shoot is going to be.

As a final note, working as an actor is not an easy task. Competition in the business could be very tough. If you are really serious about making it as an actor I would recommend that you begin by taking classes as soon as possible. Classes are usually a lot of fun and not that expensive. Acting is like going to the gym, if you stop going, even for a little while, your muscles will become stiff. Classes will keep you busy and will help you gain the confidence you need to become a movie star of your own.

Ethnicity Testing: Where Has Your DNA Been?

Have you ever wondered about your ethnic origin? Do you know for sure where all your ancestors were from and which countries' histories were a direct influence on the people who made you who you are?

I've always known I'm Canadian, but not until recently did I wonder: am I part Finnish?

It was just last week when I was broadcasting to the world on MSN that I was "60% Finnished" a personal project when I became truly intrigued about my heritage. How could I find out if I really am Finnish?

A good friend showed me that there is hope! Ethnicity testing is available to me and anyone else with similar curiosities (not necessarily a Finnish fetish, of course). There are also applications that extend beyond personal curiosity, but for the most part, everything the test tells you is more-than-fascinating.

Ethnicity testing starts with the widely held assumption that all human DNA originates in Africa and the goes on a 150-thousand-year journey. The test is the first of its kind ever developed. It reports proportional European, Western sub-Saharan African (African) and East Asian ancestry. For example, one person may obtain a result of 80% European 20% East Asian, while another may type as 33% African, 22% East Asian and 22% European. The DNA test is accurate to from 4-8% and sensitive enough to detect, for many customers, a single (100%) African or European great-great-grandparent or a single (100%) East Asian great grandparent.

As far as I know, the only Scandinavian blood in me is due to a package of Swedish Fish; however, with ethnicity test, I can make my own claim to the honorable Finland.
